1. How does my child earn the $100 monthly incentive?
Students must attend required sessions and meet academic/program expectations each month.
2. Do I have to attend with my child?
No. Mothers are not required to attend with their child. However, participating together helps both get the most out of the program, and families who join as a team are more likely to qualify. Mothers without daughters in the program are also welcome to enroll.
3. Is the program really free?
Yes. The program is completely free for families who qualify. There is no cost for students or mothers to participate, and all resources, workshops, incentives, and support are provided at no charge.
4. When do mothers start receiving monthly household essentials?
Beginning March 2026, for mothers who meet monthly participation and achievement requirements.
5. What ages do you accept?
Young ladies ages 10-17. Mothers/guardians of any age may join the Women’s Wellness & Wealth Program.
6. What type of support does my child receive?
Students receive mental wellness support, mentorship, academic support, hygiene items, life skills, career prep, entrepreneurship training, and more.
7. What kind of support do mothers receive?
Mothers receive scholarships, financial literacy training, career help, credit building, wellness workshops, and monthly essentials (starting March).
8. How long is the program?
The program is ongoing with monthly workshops and check-ins. However, our scholarship opportunities require participation in a 6–18 month track, depending on which scholarship you’re applying for.
9. Does my child need good grades to join?
No. They only need to commit to improving. Incentives are tied to effort, attendance, and engagement.
10. What mental health support is offered?
We provide emotional wellness workshops, healing circles, coping tools, and referrals for deeper support when needed.
11. Do you offer transportation?
Transportation availability depends on location and schedule. (We can adjust this answer if you want a specific policy.)
12. What is the time commitment?
Students participate in monthly workshops, check-ins, and activities. Mothers attend monthly wellness and wealth-building sessions.
13. What does the scholarship for mothers cover?
Scholarships may support career certifications, classes, trade programs, beauty/industry programs, or continuing education.
14. Can mothers join even if their child is not enrolled?
Yes, mothers can join the Women’s Wellness & Wealth Program independently.
15. What happens if my child misses a session?
They can stay in the program, but missing sessions may impact incentives for that month.
16. Do fathers or male guardians participate?
At this time, the program is for young ladies and their mothers/primary female guardians.
17. Is food provided at sessions?
Most sessions include light refreshments or snacks.
18. How often are hygiene products given out?
Monthly, as long as the student meets participation requirements.
19. How do you keep students safe?
Our program maintains a supportive, supervised environment with trained staff and clear safety protocols.
20. How do I register?
Click the Register Now button, complete the form, and attend the required orientation.

Hi, I’m Ms. Jay, Director of the Polished & Paid Youth Program and the Women’s Wellness & Wealth Program.
I’ve been a licensed manicurist for 11 years, a nail instructor for 5 years, and the owner of JPT Beauty Bar for 7 years. I’m also preparing to open my own cosmetology school in Spring 2026.
Beyond beauty, my passion is mentoring young ladies and supporting mothers. As a single mom to my 6-year-old daughter, Hazel D AKA Baby D, I understand firsthand what it feels like to struggle, juggle life, and need help and resources.
That’s why this work means so much to me.
I believe real change starts at home. When we empower mothers — emotionally, mentally, and financially — we automatically uplift the children, too. Helping the mom helps the child, and strengthening the child strengthens the whole family.
This program is about building young women and moms who are polished, paid, confident, and powerful.
I’m here to support your growth, stability, and self-worth.
Let’s grow together. ✨
